Only Mature Buck 2012 & Crocheting

Thought I would share with you a clip of the only mature buck that we had visit our backyard this past season.  He only came for a week and then moved on looking for some does I would guess.  A couple small yearlings made their way through our field but no other older bucks.  So heartbreaking to see the wildlife diminishing.

Our field has been pretty quiet through 2012 and even now hardly a track can be seen in the snow whereas in past years our field looked like a cattle field from so much deer activity.

So what have I been doing with no wildlife to watch and enjoy?  Crocheting and crocheting some more. UPDATE: as of April 2016 I no longer sell items on eBay.

My basic men's beanie has been a best seller, I make them in regular adult size as well as Big Man size and in a variety of colors.  They can be worn over the ears or fold up the bottom and wear above the ears.  All the hats I make are machine wash and dry.
My latest item is a ladies floppy brimmed hat using two strands of a soft 100% acrylic yarn.  It is warm yet soft.  I love this style of hat as it protects your glasses from rain or snow and from the glare of the sun (when it shines!).  I make this style with a bow or flower as well.
